Disaster Declaration for the State of Georgia

FEMA Notice Date: September 30th, 2024

On September 30, 2024, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declared that federal disaster aid with individual assistance has been made available to counties in Georgia to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene on September 24, 2024, and continuing. On 10/1/2024, FEMA granted individual assistance to an additional 30 counties. On 10/3/2024, FEMA granted individual assistance to an additional 4 counties. On October 4th, 2024, FEMA granted individual assistance to an additional 8 counties. On October 9, 2024, FEMA granted individual assistance to 4 additional counties. On October 11, 2024, FEMA granted individual assistance to 2 additional counties. On October 16, 2024, FEMA granted individual assistance to 1 additional county.
